DEZ Furnishings Cordless Blinds & Shades
Faux wood blinds, cellular shades and no-drill window coverings in hundreds of ready-made sizes, with no lift cords anywhere.
About DEZ Furnishings window coverings
DEZ Furnishings makes cordless window coverings sold in ready-to-hang sizes: 2" faux wood and smooth faux wood blinds, 1" mini blinds made from recycled plastic, 1" and 1.5" honeycomb cellular shades in light filtering and blackout fabrics, plus pleated, Roman, zebra and roller shades. Each line comes in dozens to hundreds of width and height combinations, so most windows can be covered without a custom order.
Every DEZ blind and shade is cordless: you raise or lower it by the bottom rail, which keeps loose cords away from children and pets. Renters get a whole family of no-drill options: EZ Stick shades hang on adhesive brackets, EZ Fit shades press into the frame without tools, EZ Grip shades use a tension headrail, and magnetic blinds snap onto steel doors.
Cordless everywhere

How to measure your window
DEZ sells ready-made sizes. Measure first, then pick the size from the menus on each card. These steps follow the measuring guides on the DEZ listings.
- Choose inside or outside mount An inside mount sits within the window opening and needs enough frame depth: about 2.9" for 2" faux wood blinds and 1¾" for cellular shades. An outside mount covers the frame and needs a flat area of at least 3" above the window.
- Measure the width three times For an inside mount, measure the opening at the top, middle and bottom with a steel tape and keep the smallest number.
- Adjust the width for the product Cellular shades: subtract ¼", then round down to the nearest listed width (they ship at the exact width ordered). Faux wood blinds: round down to the nearest listed width; the blind arrives ½" narrower to leave room for the brackets.
- Measure the height three times Measure the left, middle and right of the opening and keep the largest number. Choose the listed height that matches it or is longer.
- For an outside mount, add overlap Measure across the trim and add 1½" on each side, then round up to the next listed width. For height, add 3" at the top and 1" at the bottom.
- No-drill and door shades EZ Grip and EZ Fit shades are ordered by the inside frame width straight from the size chart, without deductions. For magnetic door blinds, measure the door glass and add 1–2" so the blind overlaps it, and leave room for the handle.

Frequently asked questions
Is DEZ Furnishings a real window blind brand?
Yes. DEZ Furnishings sells its cordless blinds and shades on Amazon, mostly fulfilled by Amazon in the US and Canada. The listings say the cellular lines are customised in the USA.
Are DEZ blinds really cordless?
Every line in the range is cordless. You lift or lower it by holding the bottom rail. The faux wood and mini blinds tilt with a wand, and the listings describe them as certified child and pet safe.
What is the difference between light filtering and blackout?
Light filtering fabric lets soft, diffused daylight through and still blocks the view in. Blackout fabric has a backing that stops light through the fabric itself. Some light can still enter around the edges of an inside-mounted shade.
Should I choose 1" or 1.5" cellular shades?
Both insulate. The 1.5" cells give a bolder look and suit larger windows. The 1" cells are slimmer and stack a little smaller when raised.
What does top-down/bottom-up mean?
The shade can be lowered from the top as well as raised from the bottom. You can let light in over a street-level view while the lower part of the window stays covered.
Will the blind be the exact width I order?
Cellular shades ship at the exact width ordered, so subtract ¼" for an inside mount. 2" faux wood blinds arrive ½" narrower than the ordered width to leave room for the brackets.
Can I install a DEZ shade without drilling?
Yes. EZ Stick uses adhesive brackets for smooth frames, EZ Fit presses in without tools, EZ Grip uses tension, and the magnetic blinds and shades snap onto steel doors.
Are faux wood blinds OK in bathrooms and kitchens?
The DEZ faux wood and flat slat blinds use moisture-resistant PVC slats. The listings recommend them for bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms.
How do I clean DEZ blinds and shades?
Wipe vinyl and faux wood slats with a damp cloth. Dust cellular and pleated fabric shades, or vacuum them with a soft brush attachment.
Why is my exact size not in the list?
Each line has a fixed grid of widths and heights. Round down to the nearest width for an inside mount, or check a related line: the Signature and Energy Saver versions often cover different sizes.
